James Decker had a son: James H. Decker. That son had a love for horses. He owned seven of them at one time and refused $2,000 for one of the horses. They were his most prized possession. In that same vein we desire this restaurant to be the most prized possession of the hotel, the most prized possession of  Maquoketa and all of Jackson County.
